Theatrical Trailer Delivery Guide

This theatrical trailer delivery guide is exclusively for designated partners only. Consult Apple technical representative if you have any questions.

Upload all assets in one folder with the name Studio_Title_date to the designated Box folder listed on the submission form.

Required Video/Audio

Theatrical trailer video assets should be compliant with the trailers and clips guidelines . Keep in mind that the contents of the trailer must be appropriate for general audiences for US/CA.

Required Artwork

Supplying all of the artwork listed will provide the best in-app experience and representation of your movie. See the Movies Style Guide and Artwork Specifications for more details and download templates. Art assets are required for the initial trailer launch. Subsequent trailers for the same movie only require Tile/Keyframe artwork and you do not need to send 16:9 Cover Art. Artwork best practices and policies can be viewed here .

16:9 Cover Art

This artwork is displayed throughout the Apple TV app for your content when a customer is browsing content.

File Type: Must be an LSR, PNG, or JPG
Size: 3840 x 2160 pixels

Tile/Keyframe

A 16:9 image that is representative of a movie and should be a keyframe from the playable asset or a production still. Tile/Keyframe artwork must be included for every trailer (Trailer 1, Trailer 2, Teaser, etc.). The image should be a clear image and not contain any text or logo. Do not use a solid color, blurry or dark scene frame.

File Type: Must be a PNG or JPG
Size: 3840 x 2160 pixels (minimum 1920 x 1080 pixels)
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
